Special $0.99 promotional pricing available exclusively on M-GO

LOS ANGELES, March 3, 2015 – M-GO, the premium digital streaming service and joint venture between Technicolor and DreamWorks, today announced the availability of the biographical drama To Write Love on Her Arms as the second film in its “filmanthropy” cause marketing campaign. The film tells the story of Renee Yohe (Kat Dennings) and the founding of the nonprofit organization, To Write Love on Her Arms, which provides support to people coping with addiction and mental illness.

To Write Love on Her Arms will be available for rent or purchase on M-GO beginning Tuesday, March 3, 2015, and will be available to rent at the special price of $0.99 for one day only on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. This special limited-time pricing is exclusive to M-GO.

“We are excited to team with Sony Pictures to share this important film with our customers,” said M-GO Senior Vice President of Content Cameron Douglas. “This limited-time offer will allow us to reach more people who may be able to benefit from the message of both the film and the organization. This is an exciting next step in our commitment to bringing cause-oriented films to a wider audience.”

To Write Love on Her Arms was founded in Melbourne, Florida in 2006 by Jamie Tworkowski, who created the nonprofit organization in an effort to provide aid and support to friend, Renee Yohe and others facing similar challenges of addiction and mental illness. In the film, Yohe is portrayed by actress Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls), while Tworkowski is played by Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill).

M-GO launched its cause marketing initiative in November 2014 with the release of Waiting for Mamu, an award-winning documentary from Reframed Pictures and executive producers Susan Sarandon and Morgan Spurlock. As the exclusive platform for the film’s first 90 days, M-GO donated every dollar earned directly to the ECDC, the residential home for Nepalese prison children profiled in the film.

M-GO will continue its cause-based “filmanthropy” efforts with future releases.
